Long Ago and Today
Long ago, I used a lantern to use as a light. Today I use lightbulbs and lightswiches. Long ago, I also sometimes at school my chair was nailed on the ground. So that meaned that I can't move the seat.Long ago, poeple lit fires at schools to get heat. Today, we use heaters to get heat. Long ago, we walk to places. That was made before cars were made. We also rided ponys to states and countrys! But then bikes, cars , and air planes were made. They were made because people wanted to get to places faster so they made things like that. Long ago, people used chalkboards instead of whiteboards to write on. They use chalk to write on the chalkboards. Today, we write on whiteboards and we write with markers now on the whiteboards. Long ago, we had to walk to someone's house to tell them something instead of useing telophones to talk. Today, we use telophones to talk to someone. Long ago, people who were black people had to sit at the back of the bus and the white people could sit where ever they wanted on the bus. All the black people thought it was unfair. Today, new rules were made. Black people could do the same things white people did in the past now. Long ago, some restruants didn't allow black people to go to eat there. Today, black people could go to any restruants they wanted to go to. Marten king juinior helped the black people. Even through he got shoted, he was a big help to the black people. Long ago, some benches were the wrong side. Today, all the benches are on the real side. Long ago is like another world because things are a whole lot diffrent then today!
